KEEPING YOUR TEAM AND OURS SAFE AND INFORMED

When you reopen, we can help

COVID-19 has changed the way commercial cleaning industries view what it means to be “clean.” Unisource Management Corporation has always maintained top cleaning and disinfecting standards but during the current international health crisis we have made significant changes and improvements to our cleaning program in order to make sure our clients feel safe and secure moving forward. We continue to go above and beyond our normal protocols and procedures to provide the cleanest and healthiest environments for our clients.

Unisource Management Corporation continues to monitor COVID-19 safety, infection, and prevention updates. We continue to strictly follow guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and local authorities.

CDC Cleaning and Disinfecting Guidelines:

  • Use of EPA-Registered Disinfectants to prevent the spread of pathogens in collaboration with strict disinfection procedures.
  • Many of the cleaning products used by Unisource Management Corporation are EPA-registered and provide more effective results than general cleaning products.
  • Normal routine cleaning with detergent or soap and water followed by disinfecting with EPA-registered disinfectants of high-touch surfaces and objects such as tables, countertops, toilets, sinks, faucets, doorknobs, handles, light switches, phones, keyboards, touchscreen devices, and desks.
  • Normal routine cleaning of carpets, rugs, seating, and drapes with cleaner designed for soft (porous) surfaces.
  • Regular use of disposable gloves and gowns for cleaning staff during all tasks of cleaning process and trash handling. Gloves and gowns are compatible with disinfectant products used during the cleaning process. Cleaning staff is required to safely remove gloves and gowns following cleaning to avoid contamination to themselves and the surrounding areas and immediately wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. If soap and water is unavailable, cleaning staff is required to use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
